When she was at the Oaks, she never failed to make me smile. My favorite memory of her was when I pulled some blinds down on my head - she cracked up and told me to try it again. She was always full of fun energy.

I have fond memories of Mrs. Carlson from my high school years when I came to their home to spend time with my good friend, Linda. I picture Mrs. Carlson sitting in the kitchen, always welcoming me with a smile and kind words. I am grateful to know of the many years God gave her. I had the pleasure of seeing Ester whenever I worked at the park. She made me smile every time. The last time I spoke to her she said, I just wanted to let you know the sun is shining. I will miss her very much.
