Our family has been a neighbor of Mr. & Mrs. Carr since 1986 and over the years we became friends. I have many memories of both Ethel and Gene, their kindness is always at the forefront of those memories. The last time I got to speak with Ethel was when I was weeding my flower beds. She came to chat bearing a gift of sweets for the guys :). She always told me how much she enjoyed looking at my flowers and how beautiful she thought they were. That was the last conversation I had with her as she & Gene moved shortly thereafter. My heart is with Mr. Carr, Kevin, Jackie and the grandkids. May God bless and comfort all of you.
