Ethel Ann Carr's Obituary
Ethel Ann (Scholler) Carr, age 85, of Twin Lake passed away September 22, 2022. She was born on December 7, 1936, in Milwaukee, WI, to Edward “Smokey” Scholler and Anna (Joers) Scholler.
In the 70s and 80s she was a lunchtime playground aide at Twin Lake Elementary where she could be found helping kids and holding hands. She was also previous owner and operator at Coneyland on Whitehall Road for 18 years and the claim goes that she was the one that got half the town addicted to ice cream while the current owners got the rest of the town. In her spare time, she loved playing cards, especially bridge, with her friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Eugene Carr; daughter, Jackie Carr of Woodland, Alabama; son, Kevin (Heather) Carr of Muskegon; grandchildren, Lacie Carr, Wyatt Carr, Paige Moss and Tyler Moss; sister, Kathy McGinnis of Morgan City, Louisiana; as well as several nieces, nephews and countless others who called her friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward Scholler of Milwaukee, WI; and sisters, Maryann Nowak and Geraldine Mutz of Pembine, WI.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held, 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 8, 2022 at St. Mary’s of the Woods Chapel in Twin Lake.
