I wanted to express my deepest sympathy to the family. I loved grandma very much, she was always so wonderful to me and I always felt like part of the family. I want to send my condolences to the family (cousins) of Aunt Paul as she was called by all of us.
I remember all the times I spent in Fruitport growing up as a child, that huge smile on Aunt Paul's face that lite up the room when she walked in. Her spaghetti she made us was the best and like everyone else mentioned, her chocolate cake with that yummy peanut butter frosting. No one could top that. After dinner was over with we had to "Redd" up the table.
I remember when Aunt Paul and Uncle Ted brought a trailer "Up North" and parked it on my mom and dads property and all the good times we had together there.

My thoughts and love to all my cousins. So many great memories of all the times spent at your house while growing up. I can still smell the 'sweetheart' soap in the bathroom that uncle Ted bought in the big plastic bags, going to the swimming hole an hour after we ate--an hour was sooo long then, the slop bucket and worm bed (that was overrun with hearty worms). We took the pitchfork and got lots so we could go down the end of 8TH St. and fish. The big glass coffeepot always perking on the stove, the big bags of puffed rice cereal, you couldn't even begin to sink them in the milk as they were like "packing peanuts" but, we loved them anyways. How I remember the huge Christmas Tree in the dining room every year and playing "Mother May I" in the side yard. I remember the Neopolitan ice cream that was opened and cut with a big knife so everyone could get some of each flavor. I loved spending time at your house and will cherish all the memories of Aunt Pauline and Uncle Ted.##imported-begin##Jan Laird##imported-end##
