Mr.Eugene "Gene" Maycroft was the best person that I ever meet. I will miss him very much.I rember when the Maycroft Square Tappers came to Grand Rapids and did a show there. My brother Greg Wiseman's family was invloved with the Maycroft family a lot and I was glad that I was able to see him and that I got to meet Gene Maycroft.##imported-begin##John Dietrich Meinhardi##imported-end##
So sadden by Gene's passing. We are so thankful for all that Gene and Alice shared with us. We met as young children in the Maycroft Square Tappers and have been married now for 25 years with two beautiful children. Gene was a wonderful person with an amazing outlook on life. Rest in peace and love to his family.##imported-begin##Mark & Monica Chartrand##imported-end##

Very fond memories of Gene and all the Maycroft Family. My daughter Katie Patterson really enjoyed Square tapping. She Broke her leg and was unable to dance for years. She went on later in High School to Sing and dance with the Allegro's and received a Music scholarship award because of her talent. She also won the National Piano Scholarship Teacher's Award in Piano. She played Flute also. Her love for dance and music I believe was a result from her experience's at a young age with your family and their dedication to the fine art of Square-tapping and Music. Gene will be fondly remembered by all who knew Him and his family. Thank-you all for sharing your family with us.##imported-begin##Karay and Gary Patterson##imported-end##

We will miss the man whose voice launched more than a thousand feet. Gene was a man that loved his family, dancing, music, and children. We can take comfort that he is now at home with our Lord and probably calling a set into motion. We will miss you Gene.##imported-begin##John Gallagher##imported-end##
