We only knew Gene for a few weeks as a rehab roommate with our dad, Juan Amaya. During that short time, we shared conversations with him and Nanci and know what a special guy he was. Rest in peace, Gene.

Gene used to come into the Mall , Mondays and Wednesdays and have coffee with several of us, who are retired from
