Recent surgery is keeping me in today but I wanted you all to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you right now. I've known Grandma for 35 years and have so many memories of family Christmas gatherings, picnics, visits to take her out for dinner, her stories, her laugh, recipes... I've missed seeing her in recent years but have always had a special place in my heart for her. She will be missed by all. Dear Marlene, Beverly and Dale,

Your mother had a special place in my life. I will always remember her soup and dessert experiments that she shared with me. She was always reaching out to give whatever help she could in the 17 years I knew her. She was a very dear lady.

She always listened to my tales of school. When I came over to share photos of my granddaughters, she would very proudly share her most recent photos of grand children, great grand children and great greats. I will miss those moments.

When I walk into my kitchen, I miss the glow of her light through the window. There a sadness in my heart. She lived a very blessed life, surrounded by those who loved and cared for her.

I was a gift knowing your mother.
