Uncle Dale, I have revisited many fond memories of Aunt Eunice and yourself. She will be sadly missed and only knowing she is with God provides comfort. You and Aunt Eunice are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Dale, It was with great sorrow that I read Eunice's death notice. She was one of those patients that leave a mark. I admired her strength, applauded her courage,and greatly appreciated her quiet admissions of fear and uncertainty. She shared bits of her life history: the deep freindship and companionship of your long marriage, her good friends, how much she loved her family and appreciated their love and care. Funny, we talked about nursing but never about the dogs! There are few patients I pray with but she was one--and I kept her in my prayers.God's plan is not always what we would like but I know He was with her through all the painful and scary time til she died. Dale, so sorry to read about Eun, I couldn't believe it. Just seeing her at Leppink's last summer she seemed fine. We said we have to go to pizza one night to catch up on old times. It didn't happen and now I really feel bad about that. We had so much fun living next door to you all those years and going to an over nighter at your cottage, great years so quickly gone.I will never forget when our Cyndie had surgery and it was time for me to change her bandage and cleanse the wound. I passed out cold. Heidi ran to get Eun right away. Of course she came in with her take charge attitude , put me in a chair and told me not to get up. She took over and showed Heidi how to do the care. Love her for that. She will be missed and I'm sure that you will have many memories to remember her by.
