Your Mother was a very special lady whom I will always remember and cherish. She will always hold a very special place in my heart as she will in so many. She always had a smile and never forgot her friends and loved one. She was a diamond among so many. She will live on by in your hearts and in the hearts of many.

Bob, Paula and Jim. Very sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. I've know her since I was a little kid and our Moms were in Extension Class together. She always had a smile for me and wanted to know how my folks were doing. She was a special lady.

Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your mom.
My dad remembers your mom, as well as your dad, as good friends from Rosy Mound days to visits in Florida. Your mom always had time to chat when he would stop by your house to pick up smoked fish for our dinner.
Though we lived in the same neighborhood for a while, I would enjoy seeing your mom more often in Meijers. She was always so cheerful.

Dear Bob, Jim, Paula, and families. you were so fortunate to have such an amazing mom. She truly was a wonderful woman who touched the lives of many. We were lucky enough to get to know her as young children. Our families were brought together through an Ottawa County Co-Operative Extention program. Our lives have been dovetailed ever since. The program was created to educate young mothers on how to manage and run a household but it evolved into the group we now know as "The Gad-Abouts." The friendships formed through it changed all our lives for the better. Today, we pause to remember how your Mom's face would brighten when she would speak of the ladies who gathered together over the years for crafts, support, and friendship. We understand that Evelyn was a member for over 70 years. When we think of her, we think of the fun times, and her friendly, dynamic, and classy demeanor. With love, Dick and Dori
