Dear Marv and Family,
Please accept my sincere condolances on the loss of your mother. Her kindness and loving spirit in the midst of all of her and your dad's health problems was always such a wonderful witness to her Christian faith.
She expressed so much love for each of you and pride in your family. What a wondeful woman.
I enjoyed her so much in our Bible study classes at Pine Grove. She was an inspiration.

Evelyn Hage is remembered by both of us as a very dear lady and a wonderful Christian woman. She was a wonderful mother and friend in the neighborhood to Warren during his boyhood. Friendship with Marv continued through their teen years as they spent many hours together at the Hage home. Dear Slager family,

I'm sure you don't remember me, but I remember your family from the Reeths-Puffer Sunday School days & some of you being in my parent's home. (Clare & Bonnie Miner in N. Muskegon. He passed away in '62 & she in '99) I enjoyed the times we shared together & know we'll meet again soon.
