I also went to visit Her 2 years ago or so, tho She didn't remember much, She put Her head against mine and I felt Her love and Her Heart knew who I was- I believe. Her and My Mom were close and She told Her to call Her 2nd Mom, since my Grandma lived out West-whom Mrs. Nelson was close to for 17 years before they moved. She will be greatly missed by All! "We love You so very much Mrs. Nelson." Our prayers are with Her Wonderful Family and Friends. [Her Son Gary always said She'd live till 100 and She passed that by more than a year-that's Mrs. Nelson!]
I have so many memories of Mrs. Nelson, I couldn't tell them all. She was my Sunday School Teacher, but most I remember being in her choir and she pushed me to my potential with a solo once-not sure why.. but She was the best Teacher of Sunday School, Choir, cooking and baking, [pies for Mill Inn when I worked there] but especially on life in general..She was the best example of how to live life. [Also-after practicing Choir for 6 months or so, She would make a big batch of rice krispie treats. I SO looked forward to them. They were the best! Maybe that's why I sang like a tweety bird! lol.]
