Dear Bill, Sorry this message is so late, but I have was snowed in visiting my daughter in Jackson Hole, WY. I am so sorry for your loss. One of the best family reunion days we ever had was some years ago in Muskegon, when your mother came to see us all and recount the early days of the Italians on Jackson Hill. She was always a gracious lady, but she had a great sense of humor, as well. I was surprised to see that she was the last of the charter members of the original Our Lady of Grace parish, although I remember my grandmother Josie DeMuro saying to me when Father Flynn got too high-handed a few times, "He forgets that my husband was one of the people who built that church!" and your mother was, of course, of that generation. The last time I saw you was right after my aunt Dolores Pranger died. Sorry to comunicate with you only at such sad times.
