Florence was a wonderful person and great support to me when we were members of Professional Secretaries International/International Association of Administrative Professionals! She will be missed.
Pastor Carlos and I were so blessed to have Florence (and Homer) in our lives. She had a passion for children's ministry and was always full of ideas to present the Gospel to children. Her love of beauty, nature and God, was so inspiring to me. I always felt under-dressed on Sundays as Florence was always dressed to the nines - a true lady! Yvonne Ramos
Our family has known Florence about 30yrs. We attended a few functions she had at the Bright Mansion-downtown. We became friends-we could write a book-we enjoyed spending time talking with her at her hone in Fruitport. Our 2-daughters and I were in the Victorian Society, which we give her much credit. She attended our church several times. Classy, caring, giving-was Florence.
We already miss her! Prayers for Homer-who she cared for very much!! The Prather family!
I had the pleasure of working with Florence at GTE for most of my 32 years working at GTE. She was always professional and kind to all. I will miss her. My condolences to Homer and her family.
Florence and I shared a special friendship over the past 10 years with our connection to the Monet Garden. She was a true inspiration and always created ideas to bring more attention to the garden along with her personal support. She was sweet, curious, very smart and thoughtful like no other. I will miss our long chats. RIP my friend.

Florence is my Step Grandma. Lovely woman. I remember when she invited my Husband Tim and I over to her house for dinner one time. She shared her love of cats with us which was a fun thing we had in common. She will be missed.
We had just reconnected with Florence in the past few years and heard family history stories from many, many years ago. She had a wonderful memory and I wish we had had more of those times. Our sympathy to Homer, Charles and families. Sue (Fredrickson) Wagner
