To Florence's entire family:
I just wanted to extend my deepest sympathies in Florence's passing. And I am so sorry that I will not be able to attend the funeral tomorrow. I just want you all to know what a great pleasure and honor it was to have known her and befriended her at Christian Care. She was such a sweet, genuine, funny and loving woman. Florence always had a kind word and even if she didn't say a word-those beautiful great big brown eyes-said it all. I will always remember the wonderful times I got to spend with her...our one trip to the mall for the picnic, playing Cribbage, polishing her fingernails, having her assist with baking cookies, eating lots of crackers and cheese and many other yummy treats and I could go on and on. Florence always had a smile for everyone as well as some funny quote. The first time she told me the "ditty" about the peanut on a railroad track...I laughed until I cried! After that...we alway started conversations together with "how's my peanut on the railroad track?" So glad I was blessed with her presence, even if it was all too short. I loved Florence dearly and since I know where she is right now, I will know where to find her one day. I look forward to that day and to continue our friendship. And I know she must be keeping them in stitches in heaven and I also know she will greet us all with those great big gorgeous brown eyes, infectious smile, tons of love and most likely a funny saying! Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Thank-you for sharing this most precious woman with me! I love you with all my heart Florence, your friend Tami.##imported-begin##Tami Tufts##imported-end##
