Frances "Fran" J. Lazarock's Obituary
Frances Jean “Fran” (Groendal) Lazarock, passed away peacefully, May 2, 2023 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence in Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Alex Lazarock. Fran was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muskegon Heights. Fran enjoyed her grandchildren, flower gardening, and taking walks in the woods. She also loved spending time in the marshlands where she would gather cattails and various different marsh grasses which she would use to decorate around her home. Fran also enjoyed working with children, sharing her passion for reading by working as a reading tutor for over 20 years with the Shettler and Beach Elementary Schools in Fruitport, Michigan. Fran is survived by her four children who she always referred to as her “Four Seasons” because of their birthdates: Mark (Nancy) Lazarock, Shawn Lazarock, Andrea (Curt) Earle, David Lazarock (Candice Dieleman); nine grandchildren, David, Tayler, Zach, Nick, Allie, Jake, Erica, Ben, and Sophia; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. VISITATION with the family will be 12-2:00 PM Monday, May 8, 2023 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100.
