I miss you more and more everyday, Grandpa. I will never forget you. You were the most caring, kind, hard-working, stubborn man I have ever met. I love you so much, and please take care of Baby Bobby and Ashley. I can't wait to see you one day, and to feel one of your famous, rough hugs. Love you. <3

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. DeBoer was always very kind to me when I was a little girl. I have fond memories of him and his beagle Lady, and him showing Davey, my sister and I all the flowers and plants in his backyard. I even remember the day he helped my Mom cut the Tonka Truck out of my sister's hair. He was a good man. Take care of yourselves.

Eleanor, we are so sorry for your loss. You and Fritz were the best neighbors a young family could have ever had. Our children loved to visit your backyard while Fritz showed them all of the projects he was working on, and brought out his dog to play. We have fond memories, he was a kind man.

Our family was truly blessed to have you in our lives. I have so many memories that are a comfort to me. One of my favorite things to do was to go to the pumpkin patch and fireworks. I loved hearing you say "look what we did" to grandma. What you did was create a strong family who loves and appreciates each other, your 70 year marriage to grandma is an inspiration and your concern for all of us made us feel so loved.
I will miss hearing your booming voice, bear hugs and watching you with Cameron and Drew. Wait for me in heaven with your arms opened wide so you can catch me as I run to you to collect one of those crushing hugs. Knowing you are waiting for me makes me smile.
I will miss you but am so thankful that you were part of our lives. I love you, grandpa!
