I had the privilege of meeting Frank in 1974 while in college. He was working as a police officer at that time. We became friends and Frank stood up for me at my wedding in 1976. He was laid off and moved in with my new bride and I, and lived with us for the next year and a half. During that time I finished college and went to the police academy. I still proudly wear a badge almost forty years later, and the influence Frank had on me continues to this day. Sadly, as life sometimes does, we drifted apart as I moved south and he changed professions. A good man, and a great mentor. You will be missed but your influence has continued as my sons followed me into law enforcement and their ideals matched his. RIP my brother, we will stay behind and watch the streets here, while you go to your eternal rest in Heaven. Well earned.
