Mr. Frank A. Anthony's Obituary
Mr. Frank A. Anthony, age 70, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017. He was born on February 6, 1947 to Frank Anthony and Josephine DeVries in Muskegon. A lifelong resident of Muskegon, Frank married the former Jean Ann Beckman in 1978 in South Kensington, Maryland. Frank proudly served his country during the Vietnam War while in the Army, and was on the Muskegon Police Department. Frank had a variety of interests. He had a love for God, his country, and his family. Everything he did revolved around education since he loved to learn and loved helping others learn. Frank had a knack of being able to talk to anyone about anything at anytime, anywhere. The outdoors was his sanctuary and temple. Frank will be deeply missed by his wife, Jean; children, Elizabeth (Stephen) Hall, Christopher (Katina) Anthony, Cynthia Fernandez, Scott (Laini) Anthony, and Sherri (Kyle) Gaultney; grandchildren, Brian, Rachel, Rebekah, Ruth, and Michael, Daniel and Kathryn, Ariana and Lucy, and Alana, Evelyn, AnnaBelle, and Ethel; brother, John Anthony; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Josephine. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 18 at 2PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Muskegon Ward (1725 W Giles Rd, North Muskegon). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Fremont Branch.
