Dear Uncle Sonny: My huggable uncle! It doesn't matter where we were at or what we were doing it was always the first thing we did was to give each other a hug. We would both go out of our way to make sure that we got our hug. I even remember a couple of months ago when I ran into you at Wal-Mart. As always we gave each other a hug, well, my mother-in-law was standing there wondering who this guy was that I was hugging. You laughed and said this is my niece! She laughed back and said well I was beginning to wonder because she is my daughter-in-law. Of course, you thought that was funny.
I can even remember when the hugs started. I was in high school and you were a security guard at Northway Lanes. I was there one Friday night with a group of friends and as soon as I saw you at the door I ran up and gave you a hug. The next time we saw each other you mentioned how much that meant to you, that I would hug him in front of my friends knowing that maybe as a teenager that wouldn't be a cool thing to do. I remember telling you that know matter where we are or who we are with the most important thing is that we are family and I would never think twice about hugging you in public.
Ever since that day, we have had a special bond that I am really going to miss. We may not have seen each other often but we knew that we were always there for each other.
I want to say something that is so profound that would let you know how much you meant to me but it's impossible to find the words. Please know that I love you and miss you.
I hope that Aunt Sandy and Troy will know that if there is ever anything we can do to help them that they can give us a call. They are really going to miss you as I know that you will miss them. They were the pride and joy of your life. There will come a time when we will all be together again. Until then, I am hugging myself and sending it to heaven and I know that you are hugging me back.
With all of my love forever and ever,
Peggy##imported-begin##Peggy##imported-end##
