Frank W. Lowden's Obituary
Mr. Frank W. “Red” “Sonny” Lowden, age 54, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 18, 2003. He was born February 17, 1949 in Shelby, MI to Frank and Mary (Ervay) Lowden and lived in the Muskegon area most of his life. He was employed as a truck driver for 13 years and worked the past 3 years for R.T.I. Transport in Grand Rapids and was a member of the Teamsters Union. On November 30, 1979, he married the former Sandra L. Peterman in Muskegon and she survives him. He was a member of Wolf Lake United Methodist Church where he served as an usher and reader. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the North American Hunter’s Club. Along with his wife, Sandra, he is also survived by one son, Troy W. (Ashley Welch) Lowden of Muskegon; 1 daughter, Shannon (Steve) Willeford of Georgia; 1 grandson, David Willeford of Georgia; mother, Mary Lowden; mother-in-law, Emergene Peterman; 3 brothers, Harry (Velman) Lowden, Paul (Alice) Ervay, Jeff (Linda) Lowden; 2 sisters, Patricia (John) Clark, Sue (Dennis) Bueno; 1 brother-in-law, Terry (Marsha) Peterman; 1 sister-in-law, Pauline Peterman all of Muskegon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank W. Lowden, stepson, Eric Raby, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and 1 brother-in-law. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at Wolf Lake United Methodist Church (370 Vista Terrace) with Pastor Bobby Cabot officiating. INURNMENT will take place at Restlawn Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the family.
