Oh, Grandpa. The world is a lot dimmer without you in it, but I am certain Heaven has never shone brighter until you got there. You are forever loved. I just want to take the time to give you my gratitude. You truly are the best grandfather to ever have the title. Thank you for sharing your light, your love, your humor, and your friendship with me and with all of us. When I would be at my sporting events or piano recitals, I always looked for you and you were always there. I will continue to look for you (every time I smell a grill, or hear a lawn mower, play polka music, or just lean internally to my treasure trove of memories of you) knowing you always will be. I love you more than you could know, Gramps. Thank you for everything, and I can’t wait to share a laugh with you again one day. Rest in everlasting peace - you deserve it.
