Dear Carol and family,
We were shocked and saddened to hear of your sudden loss. Fred was a good friend and will be missed. We always enjoyed seeing and visiting with him at our extended family gatherings. Norm has many fond memories of them working together, car pooling, shooting archery and hand guns and best of all sharing the same grandchildren. Fred always gave 100% to whatever he did. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
We are all having a difficult time, dealing with the loss of our brother Fred! But on a personal note, I was privileged to call him our brother. I will never forget his overall knowledge of so many different things, and his great sense of humor, he had a new joke each time you saw him. He will be forever in my thoughts, and may he rest in peace.

Sorry for the loss of Brother Fred. Our family (karafa) lived on one hill and Schmidt’s on the other hill. I just remember him and Jack always doing things together. Loved him like my fifth brother. Prayers for the family🙏🌹🙏🌹

R.I.P. Fred! The loss of a best bud can’t be described. It’s to hard for words. A lifetime of being there and doing things together was just part of our lives of ups and downs.

Sorry cousin that we never were able to meet. RIP
You will Always be in our hearts Uncle Fred. A trip to Michigan is never complete without hanging with all my Uncles at the Cabin. It will be so strange not to see you there next time. I will miss how you always had a joke on hand, a great loud laugh, Big green eyes like Grandma Nathalie and her
good singing voice too for Karaoke night! I have loads of memories that I will always cherish being little and my many Michigan summers❤️❤️❤️...Rest in peace Dear Uncle. I love you and will never forget you. I am also sending love and strength to you Aunt Carol and all the Family as well during this most difficult time.❤️
Hey Big brother Fred, you will be missed so much at Randy’s cabin especially when your
Sisters and brothers get together for fun. It won’t be the same without you.
I still can’t believe that you are not here with us. Your best friend Jack Karafa is broken hearted. Your son’s Bill, Adam and Fred are in great sorrow along with the grandsons.
I hope you find Dad and Mom so you can have a drink with them.
Rest in peace Dear Brother, remember that you are loved. Until we all meet again.

For my friend Freddy. My prayers and best wishes go out to the family for their loss. I know how it hurts. Fred was a great man and I feel privileged to have met him. I spent time with Fred at the race track and for hours chatting on the phone about our favorite subjects. He will be sorely missed. GOD BLESS and I will see you on the other side my friend. Fred Schmidt!
So sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed talking with him. My condolences to the entire family.
