Frederick William Bennett's Obituary
Mr. Frederick William Bennett, age 60, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007 at his home. Fred was born April 10, 1947 to Arnold and Vyvyan (Schroeder) Bennett in Detroit. He was employed as a business agent for Teamsters Local #214 for 21 years, prior to that he was a deputy for the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Department. On August 23, 1997 he married the former Jill Wiersma in Muskegon. Fred was an avid Harley Davidson rider who enjoyed music and traveling with his wife, Jill. Most of all he loved being a dad. He was a member of ABATE of Michigan, Harley Owners Group (HOG) and The Lawmen of Muskegon County. Fred is SURVIVED by his wife, Jill Bennett; 5 children, Stephanie Renee (Matthew) Haggard of Shrewsbury, MA, Alex William Bennett of Leesburg, VA, Nicholas Frederick (Jamie) Bennett of Centreville, VA, Courtney Cozier and Lindsay Wiersma both of Muskegon; 1 grandson, Hunter Peterson; mother and father-in-law, Jack and Olga Wiersma; aunt and uncle, Geri & Fred Schroeder and his good friend, Ron Parrish. Fred was preceded in death by his parents. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 3:00 PM Monday, April 16 at the
