Everyone keeps asking me what i want for my birthday. Truth is, i want to see you again. I wanna spend a sunday at church with you. I wanna hear you sing your songs and i wanna watch you ride your bike again. Just one more day with you, would be the best birthday ever.
I miss you so much. I can't help but cry sometimes. Even the slightest memory brimgs tears to my eyes. I hear your voice all the time. I love you Grandpa. Fly high up there. -Manda May

Fred & the entire Spier family have always treated me as one of their own.
Love you guys and am very saddened for your loss.
Remember when Fred saved me from accidentally hanging myself on your swing set?
Ollie and the Spier family,
We're so sorry to here of Fred's passing. No more Herbies Restaurant and no more rides to the front door at Hackley Hosp in the little yellow bus, Only memories of a nice guy and friend of the family. chasmojomama
Dear Spier Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope and pray that the memories of your husband/father/grandfather along with the love/support of family and friends will help you through this difficult time.
I am very grateful that he became a volunteer at the hospital so I, along with many others, got the opportunity to know him. Fred made MY day when he stopped by the office for a visit or to pick up his meal ticket. He had such a great sense of humor and such a gentleness about him......I always tried to get out to the front office to see him.
He will be missed!

His life is a beautiful memory, His death is a silent grief; He sleeps in God's beautiful garden, In sunshine of perfect peace, We miss him oh so much, But realize God knew best, He let us have him for many years, Then gently bid him rest. Love always......
