Goodbye Freddie!! It was a great life, wasn't it??? Thanks for being my friend. I remember your pet crow that used to ride around on your shoulder leaving white streaks down your back as you delivered your morning edition of the Grand Rapids Herald. You gave me your route and I had it for two years. I also remember your crow following you to school and flying from window to window looking for you and pecking at the glass until the teacher would make you leave and take your pet home giving you an hour of free time. I think you Mom made you get rid of the crow when he ate her roses. Another one of the Spring Lake "Gang" gone on to better things. I will never forget you Freddie. Condolences to the family of Fred Frietchen, he was very proud of you.##imported-begin##Fritz Curtis##imported-end##
