I Always Enjoyed working with Garrett. I could always be confident that he would make sure everything was ready to go when I got to Plant 10 to survey his furnaces. He was a Trusted Friend and Co-Worker.
I Hope that he was able to Enjoy some of his time on the hike before the Heavenly Father called him Home. He was a Good Man.
He will surly be missed. I worked with him for many many years and he was such a sweet caring person, we always shared a laugh a story or a smile when he came to my desk for help he always said it was my Job Security and laugh. It was such a big shock to hear you left us, I will miss his smiling face. I have never heard Garrett say a bad word about anyone in all the years I have known him, my deepest condolences for his family and friends. I know he is with his soulmate (Dovie) now and at peace! With my prayers and deepest sympathy! RIP Garrett! You will be missed, but never forgotten. You left a footprint on my heart!

Garrett was the first supervisor I trained with at Howmet. We quickly developed a friendship that extended beyond the work place. After my development program ended, I chose to work at plant 4 largely because I’d be working with Garrett again. Garrett was as solid a person as it gets. I’ve never seen him upset or flustered, he was very knowledge about so many things and had an answer for any question you asked. I’m still in shock, it hasn’t really set in that I won’t see my friend on Monday when he was set to return to work from his vacation with some hilarious stories to share. I’m going to really really miss you G. Your legacy is solid as gold. There isn’t one person who has any thing negative to say about you. You were the standard for how to treat employees and be true to yourself on the job. You stood for things . You are a rare breed and we all will truly miss you.
I did not have much interaction with Garrett in my 1 week we shared at Plant 4, but in what little interaction we shared, I found him to be courteous, knowledgeable and well like by all his peers. He will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace.

It’s so hard to believe you are no longer with us. You talked about your trip for months. I could not wait to hear about it and the stories you would have had. Thank you for being someone to look up too and for being the standard. We are going to miss you.
