Gary J. Bisacky's Obituary
Gary Joe Bisacky, age 72, passed away Friday afternoon, April 3, 2015. He was born July 17, 1942 in Grand Haven to Joseph and Edna (Farrer) Bisacky. Gary was a 1960 graduate of Grand Haven High School. On October 3, 1964 he married Ruth Ann Boyink in Grand Haven. Gary owned and operated Joe’s Auto Parts in Spring Lake for over 50 years and also Depot Antiques along with his wife, Ruth. He had a huge passion for auto racing. He owned and sponsored many cars/teams for many years at several of the local race tracks, including Berlin Raceway. Gary was an avid reader, loved to travel and go to car shows, and was a history enthusiast, especially military history. He had also been a former member of Christ Community Church. SURVIVORS include his wife of 50 years, Ruth; 3 sons: Aaron Bisacky, Zachary Bisacky, Caleb (Stacey) Bisacky all of Spring Lake; 2 grandchildren: Anna and Benjamin; sister, Paula (Gary) Baas of Grand Haven; 2 nieces: Heather Baas, Hadley (Bill) Streng; several aunts, cousins, and many close friends. SERVICES for Gary will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with Rev. Doug Bytwerk officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday, April 7, 2015. Burial will take place in Spring Lake Cemetery. MEMORIALS to the Tri-Cities Historical Museum will be appreciated.
