Gene S. Logan's Obituary
Mr. Gene S. Logan, age 84, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019 at his home. He was born on November 7, 1934 in Flushing, MI to Wesley and Evelyn (Sovereen) Logan, and resided in the West Michigan area since 1970. Gene owned and operated Logan’s Speedy Print for many years. He was a very active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Gene also was involved and proudly served his community in many different ways. He had a great love for music and playing in bands. In September of 1995, he married the former Laura Lewis Carlson, and she survives him along with his four children, Timothy (Nancy) Logan, Lisa Erhan, Rachel (Bryan) VanDyke and Cristopher (Noel) Logan; two step-children, Celeste (Mark) Meyer, and Glenn (Sheila) Carlson; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister, Katie (Robert) Berry. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be 11AM Thursday, April 4, 2019 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (1726 W. Giles Rd.).
