I am so sadden to read about Gene. He was a very nice guy whom I had the pleasure of working with at GTE for many years. R.I.P., Gene, until we meet again. Condolences to the Tietsort family as you go through this difficult time.
I am saddened to learn of Genes passing but he is now without pain and soaring with the Angels keeping watch on his family and friends. My prayers go out to Ruthanne and all of his family.
He will join Jerry McClure, Ken LeMieux and Bob Kirkpatrick keeping watch on our Fruitport classmates
REST IN PEACE MY BROTHER.

My sympathy to Aunt Ruth and family. May your precious memories and treasured moments with Uncle Gene be of comfort to you during this very difficult time.
Uncle Gene was my favorite uncle, and was very special. Him and Aunt Ruth were always fun to be around. I remember as a teenager they took me hiking on the trails at Hoffmaster state park, yep we got lost on the trails. I had to pee really bad and Uncle Gene told me to pee behind a tree. As much as I needed to I couldn't. Anyway we came out quite a ways away. Thankfully someone offered us a ride. Somehow they figured we needed one. 😉 I just barely made it to the bathroom. After that he would threaten me that he was going to take for another walk in the woods. Haha. We often debated who it was that got us lost. He was a great uncle! He will be missed and be remembered very fondly. 💞
