I am sorry to hear about George passing. We didn't know about it untill some one picked up the Antrim paper. We talked to him two years ago at the Veenstra reuion and we sat at the same table with him and one son.Have known George for over 70 plus years. George an I were first cousins.##imported-begin##Nathan Brock ##imported-end##
I was the best catcher George ever had during my senior year.Of course I caught for the best pitcher he ever had, Bill Lovet. I caught 7 no hit games in 1949, all for the best coach in the State of Mi.I would be interested in what ever happened to Hunter. He as born while your mother was a Home Ecc., teacher here at Bellaire. Some of us from the ball team went to there home in Atwood. Our must sincere condolence. I will never forget sitting on your porch talking about whatever subjects came up. You had an amazing long life and anyone could only hope to do all the things you did over many years especially enjoying the company of family, the softball, golf and watersports. The Nordens will all miss you and never forget you as a great man, friend, and a neighbor.##imported-begin##Ken Norden##imported-end##

I am sorry to read of your loss. When we suffer a loss we often feel helpless and alone. I know I did. What I found encouraging were words from Jehovah found at Psalms 34:18. For more information on the Bible's hope, please visit www.watchtower.org.##imported-begin##Chris##imported-end##
