I have many wonderful memories of George, we met at the singles dance and dated four years. We had a lot of good times together. You taught me the blue rose, my favorite dance. We played a lot of scrabble, went to a lot of garage sales; reminded me I owed you 50 cents for a book I bought, you said it wasn't the money but the principle of a debt owed, which made me roll my eyes at you, we laughed alot. We rarely missed a singles dance in the four years together and it was a poignant moment when you danced with Rhonda one evening. We ate Chinese every Wednesday. You always bought me jewelry for Christmas and my birthday. You were always a gentleman and treated me like a lady. When I had surgery you came to visit me in Grand Rapids even though you hated hospitals. So many memories came flooding back. We usually called each other on our birthday throughout the years. Just a couple of days ago Megan said we should go see you and now you are gone. I wish I would have known about your accident, I would have liked to have helped you out. I have so many good memories and am thankful for the time we were able to spend together. Rod, Rhonda and family, so sorry for the loss of your father and grandfather, he was certainly one in a million and I'm sad that I didn't get to see him one more time. I know he was proud of you and loved you all very much. Sincerely Regina.
