George L. Bulthouse's Obituary
George L. Bulthouse, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. He was born on August 9, 1934, to Harry and Agnes (Johnson) Bulthouse in Grand Haven, MI. He was a proud veteran serving in the U.S Army. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. George will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his 2 children, Ronda (Gary) Balavitch and Rodney (Jody) Bulthouse; 6 grandchildren, Jordon, Trenton (Krista) and Macey Balavitch, Megan, Merissa (Sam) and Maxwell Bulthouse; 3 great-grandchildren, Monroe, Harlow, Reed and baby Marley arriving in February; and 4 siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents; 6 siblings; and granddaughter, Linsey Bulthouse. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 2-5:00 PM on Sunday, January 22, 2023, with military honors at 2:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be directed to AgeWell Services or Holton Township Fire Department.
