My workouts at the Y in the morning are filled with stories of from a generation with more years and wisdom than my own and my heart sank this morning as I returned to the Y to hear the news. Remembering George's face, his smile even during workouts and conversations of his love of photography. Although I never formally met George, he and his stories will be missed.
Barb and family we are so deeply sorry for your loss. We known you all so very long with the kids and sports and seeing you around town.. I always enjoyed seeing him in Meijers with the grandkids they just filled his heart. Our thoughts and prays are with you all. Kip and Sandy Nadeau
In honor and respect of my really great friend, George Lambourne:
The world is a Hard Place,
Yet there is always the moment
That fruit and flowers reach their Zenith.
May we reach for that moment
When they taste the sweetest,
And are in full Bloom.

I’ve been trying to think of the best memory I have of George and there’s just so many......He always had a hug and a laugh for me whenever I saw him. Both him and Barb treated me as family and I will be forever greatful to have had him in my life. Best memory was when he said he wanted to do delivery for Plantenga’s and we were all cracking up because there was no way the job would last as he would wind up being late to the next stop due to talking with the owner at the last stop for too long. That’s the greatest quality about him he would talk and be friendly to anyone and everyone he came into contact with. You truly will be missed by many my friend.
Sincerely,
Sarah (Davidson) Curtis
