I'm just sitting here looking at the scar on my knee and remembering how it got there. It was a bright and sunny day, much like today when you brought out my new bike. This new adventure proved to be quite the challenge however try after try, you and Grandma picked me up and brushed me off; that is until I missed that long cement step and kaboom! I remember your face when you picked up my bike as Grandma took me in to clean my wound. It didn't take long before we were at it again. I'll never forget the encouragement you gave me Grandpa. I know you'll watch over us just like Grandma. Be sure to give her a big hug for me and say hello to your great-grandson Nathaniel.
