A memory I always think of when I think about my grandpa, was the time he was taking me home from summer camp. On the way back to his house he saw a dead deer on the side of the road so he had us pullover to take a look at it. He got out of the car and began to inspect it when he insisted that I get out and take a look as well. So grandpa and I are looking at this dead deer and then he looks up at me and asks me if I think we could fit it in the car. Me being about 8 years old and disgusted by the deer, I said no. He looked back to me and agreed, not because it was inconvenient, but because the deer had probably been sitting out to long. I'm still scared to think the he would have had us put the deer in the car if it had been anymore fresh.
This story highlights my grandpa's funny and stubborn nature. He was always trying to make people laugh, but also stubborn to the point it was humorous.
