George was a gentle, quiet and thoughtful man. I worked my first trip as a promoted conductor with him some twelve plus years ago. Condolences to family. I will miss his kindness.##imported-begin##anita smith##imported-end##

George was a close friend of mine during our college days at LSSU and as a member of the same business fraternity. Although we lost contact with each other after college, I see his smile and face all the time as he is a prominent part of my wife's favorite wedding photo that hangs right in our bedroom entryway. I am sure that many people share great memories of George as my wife and I do. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers have been with his wife and family since we heard the news.##imported-begin##Mike & Kathy Day##imported-end##
My heart goes out to George's wife and family. I hadn't seen George in many years and was shocked to hear of his passing. I knew George from our days at Lambda Sigma Beta at Lake State and always enjoyed his company. He was a great person and will be missed.##imported-begin##Gary Moore##imported-end##
