George Paul Micka IV's Obituary
Mr. George P. Micka, IV, age 45, died suddenly Friday, January 13, 2012, in Manistee, MI while he was volunteer working on the S.S. City of Milwaukee. He was born December 26, 1966 in Muskegon to George III and Mary Anne (Hibbard) Micka. He was a 1985 graduate of Muskegon Catholic Central and received his masters degree from Central Michigan University. He was employed as a Freight Train Engineer for CSX Railroad for 11 years and currently for Marquette Railroad. George was President of the S.S. City of Milwaukee board of directors. He married the former Jamie Renee Brown in Muskegon on September 6, 1997. She survives him along with his parents, George (Mary Anne) Micka III; 1 brother, Martin F. Micka of Goodyear, AZ; his father-in-law, Dennis (Kelly) Brown of Fruitport and his mother-in-law, Billie Brown of N. Muskegon. The MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Rev. Gerald Hagans officiating.
