Thank you all for your kind words of Grandpa Neuman. Grandma passed away ten years ago and I believe Grandpa was ready to pass on at least three years ago. He had a very good life. Many stories of the Sears Days and his traveling! My husband Todd will miss the companionship that they have shared as well. As well as the other lives Grandpa has touched. He indeed was a kind soul. I am the daughter of Maggie Judd Aue and George was my mother's cousin. We always enjoyed seeing George at St.Marks

Known George for many years. Always remember his great laugh. He was a character. I started working for Sears in 1937 when it was one floor and basement in the former Masonic Temple building on Western and second street.I managed hardware. Drove Alva C. Roebuck around Muskegon when he came as publicity for our opening of our remodled store in 1938. I am not sure when George came to work at Sears. I retired from Sears after 37 years when I turned 55 an moved to Crystal Lake in Beulah. Saw George ocassionally on trips back to the store. He was lots of fun. I am sure you will miss him I didn't know he was older than me. I am 90 and now live in Dayton,Tn. where I have been assisting my son with his Funeral Home and cemetery. We are located about 40 miles north of Chattaooga. I just wanted to give you my relationship with George and express my sympathy to the family for a great guy I will always remember. Getting to know George over the past several years has been a real honor. As I listened to Sue share her letter of the many things her father taught and shared, not only with her but all the grandchildren as well, explains the legacy he leaves behind. Gettig to know all of you has been a wonderful privilege. Shari and I always looked forward to the birthdays, and I know how dearly she loved your father and grandfather.
