To all family of Jerry Dobberstein,

Please accept our sympathy in the loss of your dad/grandpa/relative. We knew Jerry at Lakeside Baptist as a friendly, helpful servant of His Savior, Jesus Christ. He was an usher and showed his care with a warm smile and made you feel right at home in church. His family were wonderful folks. We especially know Marc and Larry & Rhonda (Chicky) from Center Lake as they helped in the ministry to kids there. We share some great memories. May God comfort each of your hearts as you will miss Jerry in your family gatherings. We are praying for you to be at peace with God and let this event draw you closer to our Lord, especially at this Christmas season. My Mom, Helen Lund, also passed away in December so I know some of the sentiment that creates. Remember to carry on the legacy your Mom and Dad instilled in your lives of loving and serving Jesus.

We have many fond memories of visiting with Jerry when he was still in his house. He always enjoyed our banana bread treats. His smile would brighten the room and he always had a welcoming hug.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Dobberstein family. Blessings!

Mr Dobberstein, I remember when I first moved into my house accrossed the alley from you. The back of my yard was overgrown and my mom and i tried to clear it out for a couple of weeks. I went to work one monday and when I came home you had cleared a majority of it out for me. My cocker spainel Butterscotch just loved you and after she was gone, my other two dogs Jasmine and Zowe loved you to. Acturally they knew you would give them treats. You were a sweet sweet man and a very kind neighbor. Now you are with your wife whom you loved dearly.

Rest in Piece Mr and Mrs Dobberstein, you both are missed.

Truly blessed to have Jerry as my Dad. He was friendly, reliable, jam packed full of integrity all throughout his life. Gosh, nobody could have asked for a neater guy to have as their father.
