Gerrie and Bill were our neighbors in Lakeside for many years. A nice couple and wonderful neighbors. Gerrie and I had many over-the-fence chats through those 17 years. She loved her family, her church, and her faith very much. She will be fondly remembered for her genuine kindness and positive outlook on life. My sincere condolences to all of her family.
I remember the early days of our marriages. We had nice visits and then got busy raising families. Gerry was a very nice person, and I enjoyed having her friendship. We kept in touch through the years. She will be missed. God Be with Bill and Family. Praying for you all.

Bill and Gerrie were married when I was 16 years old. I took care of their children on many occasions and enjoyed being their aunt. Gerrie made her own infant seat for her babies using a cardboard box with a pillow so that she could carry them to the place where she was working and watch them and talk with them. She and Bill raised 5 wonderful children and have had a lot of influence on the lives of their mates and all of the grandchildren. We will miss Gerrie at our family gatherings. I am happy knowing that Gerrie loved her Savior, Jesus Christ and is now with Him. What a blessed hope that those of us who have received Jesus as our personal Savior will see Gerrie when we get to heaven. What a day of rejoicing that will be! Love, from Arlona McCallum
