Geraldine Mae Toman's Obituary
Mrs. Geraldine Mae “Gerrie” Toman, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on December 28, 1931 to Gerrit and Jenny (Meyer) Timmer. Gerrie was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and faithful member of the Tuesday morning Bible Club. She was a loving wife, supportive mother, and she always put her family first. On November 28, 1953, Gerrie married Arnold “Bill” Toman in Muskegon. He survives her along with five children; Diane (Gerald) Schulz, Paul (Barbara) Toman, Susan Toman (Richard TenHoor), Arlona (Garry) Kolb and Jim Toman; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Anne Ramsay and Edith Potter. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Eric TenHoor; and one sister, Jean Grinwis. VISITATION will be from 2-5 PM Sunday, February 28, 2016 at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., 231-759-8565. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 29, 2016 at Lakeside Baptist Church (2250 Denmark St, Muskegon) with Rev. Andy Husmann officiating.
