we miss you Daddy
To Joanie and Family...We hope you find comfort in this poem. Seems like something Glen would have said.
I'm Free
Don't grieve for me now, for now I'm free.
I'm following the God laid for me.
I took God's hand when I heard the call;
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that place at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss.
Ah, yes, these things, I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief;
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me--
God wanted me now, God set me free.
The mark of a great man? Look at his family and friends. Truly you know the status of Glen Gray. Regrettably I cannot join you today to celebrate his life and remember wonderful stories but please know that both he and all who read this are being thought of and prayed for.

I have a lot of fond memories of things we did in our youth. our prayers are with you in this most difficult time. Don & Glovira Shears
Please accept our family's sincere and heartfelt condolences. We are so very sorry for the loss that you are experiencing. Glen was such a great guy and dear friend. He was there for our family when my Mother was sick. I remember Glen bringing wild flowers to her bed side with his grand daughter. He brought us out in his boat to spread her ashes in Lake Michigan. Ardie loved Glen & Joanie.
The fishing & cabin memories shared with Glen & my dad were many...due to health problems, that last fishing trip wasn't to be. My dad is so saddened to hear of the loss of such a good friend.
Thank you, Glen, for all the great times you brought to our family's lives and for always being there with a helping hand and open heart.
It is our hope that the memories and love of family comfort you at this time of great loss. Thinking of all of you, with love.
Cissie, Doc Long & Family
