Mr. Glen Archie Tibbs, age 83, passed away Thursday morning, January 8, 2015. He was born August 2, 1931 in Pikeville, KY to Earl and Maggie (Carroll) Tibbs and had resided in the Muskegon area since 1956. Glen worked for Teledyne Read Obituary
Glenn taught me how to fish in the rivers, how to hunt deer and how to do basic repaires to my home many years ago. The best thing that Glenn ever told me was, " If ain't got no mon (money) you ain't got no fun, go to work everyday and work a little overtime".

Sorry for the loss of a great man Glenn Tibbs....I am proud I got to met him. I am Brandon s x wife Tawanna but I really thought alot about Glenn & Ruth
My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Glenn Tibbs, as they walk through these challenging days. I hope the Lord pours many blessings on the family and always know to call me if you need anything at all. Glenn will be sadly missed by me and the rest of my family. He was my brother-in-law but most importantly a dear friend. I will never forget the good conversations we would have as he would call me almost every night. I am thankful to have had a friend such as Glenn.

I will always remember Uncle Glenn coming home to Pikeville, Ky. I could always hear him before I seen him walking up the hill hollering at everyone asking them how they been and where their working at now. Our conversation would always end by him asking me if I was a democrat or republican. Me of course a republican I would always bicker with him a minute until he would pull a dollar from his wallet and say go tell your pa your a democrat and the dollar is yours, but as soon as the dollar touched my hands I would run screaming REPUBLICAN!! I will miss that very much and just our little talks will be treasured memories that I will pass on to my children and grandchildren. Thanks for the memories, Love you Uncle Glenn.
