My oldest sister, Connie passed away when her and Glenn's daughter Linda was just 5 weeks old. He was a great father and we were always so grateful that he eventually married a wonderful woman that not only loved Linda like her own but brought her daughter Deanna into our family. While Glenn was a devoted husband to Lucille he never ceased putting flowers on Connie's grave - for 55 years. He did it to honor the mother of his daughter. That was just the kind of man he was. The world could really use more honorable and committed men like Glenn. We will miss him greatly. Linda and Deanna we love you both and share your grief. Love, Aunts Joyce, Maggi and Pat

I met Glenn, Lowell and the Buitendorp family in 1947 when they vacationed at Silver Lake, next door to our unfinished family cottage that was in framed pieces on the ground. The family agreed to be part of the barn-raising, and the men stepped up and helped do just that. My father Art Carlson (980 Ada Av ) was building by himself. I own an 8mm movie of that day filmed by my Mom. The Buitendorps are raising and hammering in color. It was quite a day, that cottage is still standing and I will be there all summer! Please stop by anytime.

Lowell was in the Angell Jr. High Band with me, in 3rd clarinets. I tried to find Lowell through the Scottville Clown band, to no avail. I used to walk, ride my bike with cousin Gordon to school past your Ada Ave. house every day for 10 years.
