Glenn A. Buitendorp's Obituary
Mr. Glenn A. Buitendorp, age 86, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 in Fruitport. He was born on September 25, 1930 to Arthur and Bernadine (Zuidema) Buitendorp. Glenn married the former Connie Whisenant in 1956 and she preceded him in death in 1961. He married the former Lucille Kleyn in 1968 and she preceded him in death in 2005. Glenn was an avid reader and history buff and had worked as a printer at Shaw-Walker for 38 years. He enjoyed traveling and the time spent with his friends at the Cozy Cafe restaurant, but foremost was the time spent with his family. SURVIVORS include his children and grandchildren, Linda (Mark) Carlson and their children, Bethany (Eric) Brayton and Jacob Carlson; Deanna (Don) Williams and their son, Richard Williams; and his brother, Lowell Buitendorp. A MEMORIAL GATHERING will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 3-5 PM at 3305 Reginald Dr. Burial will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery in Fruitport.
