Kathy and family,
Our hearts go out to you along with our prayers for God to comfort you. Glenn always
had an infectious smile and kind heart. I will miss seeing him. May you feel God's loving
arms around you enfolding you in His love.

My greatest joy was when Pastor Jim asked if I could do the tribute to Glenn for the screen in the sanctuary. I am so glad that the pictures were of things that truly were a part of yours and his lives together. I do not take credit for selecting the right pictures that felt perfect to you, that was all God pointing out to me what would be the best tribute to Glenn's life. Just so glad I could do something so little for someone with such a big heart.

Kathy and Family,

I'm so sorry for your loss. Thank you for calling me when you did so I could see Glenn and say good-bye in person. It meant a lot to me. Even though the years passed and we didn't get to see each other much due to work, distance, life's circumstances, etc., Glenn was my best friend for fifty years. I met Glenn when I was hired at Kmart and he was my boss. Glenn taught me how to water ski and I have so many good memories of times spent at the cottage and some of the escapades we got into! I couldn't have asked for a better friend. Rest in peace Glenn.

Glen (Mr.D), you have been my mgr. for over 20 of my 41 years at K-Mart 4428 . You gave me a chance at being an Asst. Mgr and because of you I stayed. You helped me as well as many others to do our jobs. You WILL BE TRULY MISSED!!!! R.I.P

in honor of Glenn.

Glenn was my brother in law, + he was always with a smile, + he was always loved. I recall the moment this picture was taken - he had taken Kathy + I on a pontoon like boat - out in the waters off the end of Captive in Florida. The sun was setting + the evening air was so balmy. His gift to Kathy + I then, is our memory now. Glenn loved Florida + he spent each winter with Kathy in my home. We had so many nice times, nice dinners, nice days at the beaches. He taught us all how to appreciate and value the moments - how to smell the roses. Glenn made all of our lives better by his own stability. He believed in God. He stayed true to his family, his children, his friends, and my sister Kathy. He was well read + had a positive view on how to make the world a better place. I remember when he managed the K-Mart in Ypsilanti (1969), Michigan, where Kathy + he met. I have known Glenn 45 years and he was always the man you see in this picture. His love for his family will continue to surround them like the wings on an Angel. Glenn taught us how to live...and how to die. We will miss him every day - he will always be in our hearts, and in our shared memories of our life with him. Memories keep our loved ones near - until we join them and know the gift of having believed. Be at peace dear Glenn, you have earned your wings. Love, your sister in law Linda Broughton.
