We are sorry to hear of Gloria’s passing. Gloria and Glenn were close friends of my parents (Doug & Julie Mohr) for many decades and they were instrumental in my parents’ positive move from Muskegon, MI to Green Valley, AZ in 1992. They had a spiritual connection through DeColores and many other common interests. We exchanged cards and phone calls through the years (as recently as this Summer), and Gloria regularly asked how my Mom was doing in Assisted Living in Green Valley.

We have many fond memories of the get togethers we had with Gloria and Glenn with my parents, and they provided very helpful guidance and encouragement. We visited their townhouse in Pagosa Springs, CO in 2000 as part of a trip to Durango, Telluride and Ouray, and this trip spawned the idea of having our home in Durango which we bought in February of 2021 (in addition to our Green Valley home near my Mom’s assisted living facility).

Dear Mary & Waid, Jeff, Jim & Debi~
Thank you for sharing your Mom with me for over 50 years!
Such a dear friend, who also introduced me to other of her dear friends
and shared lots of fun between Michigan and Arizona !

Gloria was my first customer in the floral business who i met on the first day
at Annelie's Flowers & Gifts. She was my favorite person for many years,
meeting for lunch and sharing occasions., and
just being such a wonderful friend thru good times and difficult times. She was a wonderful teacher of many things and instrumental in my life.

Better yet was sharing my husband Mac and your Dad when we had all four of us together including great memories of Sedona. Would not have spent the time for that memory if not for your parents. They insisted we take time off from work and we did!

Gloria was like my 2nd mother and loved hearing about all of you thru the years as well. She loved sharing your adventures and accomplishments. It was fun for me to hear as well.

Mac and I send our love with wonderful memories we can keep forever.
Hoping good memories and God's Love will give you peace at this time.
