Dear Fred,
We give you our sympathy in the passing of Gloria. She was a special
person.Whenever we saw her, she was smiling and always interested in what
was going on.Was she sick for very long?
Are you still living in Norton Shores?
Our love to you. Marv and Ethel##imported-begin##Marvin and Ethel Brown##imported-end##
Cyndi and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories of Gloria from our camping trips to Round Lake to coming into the house and always smelling something yummy cooking! But the one memory that stands out most is how she could sit in her chair with Cyndi and I in the room...and continue
to...knit/pearl/crochet AND talk all at the same time!!! She was the first person I met that was so darn crafty! When I see lacy things I think of Gloria! She will be missed by many.##imported-begin##Suzi Sidock##imported-end##
I met Gloria at a Bible Study Fellowship class in Norton Shores.
We became friends and always
made sure we visted with one another.
She was lots of fun and very light-hearted. I live in Pentwater so I know
I saw her here a couple of times. Gloria would talk about camping somewhere near Scotville. I'm sorry for your lost but know she is at peace
with God.##imported-begin##shelley lentz##imported-end##
Fred and family:
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. When I worked for Dr. Mixer, you two were favorite patients. Gloria was always so positive and such a beautiful and happy person. May you have peace in mind and body.
Love,

GLORIA PEARL SMITH
Gloria Pearl (Fordham) Smith ... Our world lost a precious and gentle woman Monday evening, December 26, 2011, a woman, though painfully ill and barely alive, who offered her soul of silken gold and smiled with her heart, a heart trumpeting her soft and loving aura. Gloria’s strength offered up precious droplets of heaven's passionate nectar. We who knew and loved her may rest assured that God does indeed exist, and that He shall watch over we who watch over others. The Lord soothed his stricken Gloria Smith with Angels aloft and doves fluttering in patient waiting to accompany her. While taken from us in body, never shall memory of dear Gloria’s generosity erode, for in the grandiose of the sincere love that she shared with her friends and family, her lovely, dedicated children, Rick and Cindy, her beloved grandchildren: Erica, Tara, Meghan, Cole, Brennan, Taylor and Bentley, her parents Ernest and Alice and her cherished, dedicated, heart-strong husband, Fred. Gloria offered all that she could, all that she had the strength to give and then a little more and a little more --- while her strength gradually exhausted allowing Angels to carry her to serenity and evermore. Gloria and Fred Smith were faithfully attuned to each others’ needs and desires: feelings spoke volumes without a word murmured a twitch was a kiss, a soft caress an act of love so deep and true that they one in unison without effort or attempt. Fred indubitably shared her misery, her hopes and dreams. He is her mate in all that is and was and shall be forevermore. Monday night ... before the dawn of her memory was yet a memory the Lord brought home our beautiful and wondrous, our gloriously enchanting Gloria Smith; Gloria Smith: friend to all, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, wife, daughter, neighbor and tender epistle to all that reigns truly good in we humans. May God bless your holy loveliness, Gloria Smith ... and may we all feel a spark of your freedom and wonderment and generosity ... of all that was you. You are truly missed, Gloria, but never, ever shall you be forgotten. We love you, Gloria as you loved us and as God loves your blessed family, your blessed flock. Rest in Eternal Peace, Gloria. Your spirit is a triumph to the good that man is capable of, is placed here to share and to teach. You taught us well ... beyond your last willing breath. One may strive for nothing grander. Our world lost a precious soul Monday and caught a privileged glimpse of soulful love flutter to the heavens and beyond and beyond ... Gloria Smith …##imported-begin##Larry Trap##imported-end##
