My dearest wish would always be that I could live a mile or two from thee,
So I could stop in every day to laugh and chat and say I love you Mother and Daddy too. Is there something that I can do? But that was not ment to be, I lived far across the state you see.
I tried to live as I thought you would,
And did the best that I could, to live and honor you, and our Lord. To dwell in peace, harmony, and accord!

It is so difficult to accept the passing of someone as endearing as Aunt Goldie. She was a living testament that even today, one can believe in the deep inspirations of the Word of God and allow her spirit to flow into the lives of her family, friends and neighbors without force. She was a steady, stable, and Spirit-led woman of God! I remember her for her gentle grace, and will always remember her as one who was bold enough to live her Walk with God with a servant’s heart, humble.
Aunt Goldie lived the fundamental faith taught to her by her faithful parents even when she encountered heartache throughout life, heartbreak when her Christian brethren left her down, and heart failure when the pleasures in life was diminished from her. She would want each of us to follow her walk in life by Living, Loving and Laughing with the same fundamental and humble Spiritual commitment she upheld. We need to follow her inspired lead to honor our parent’s faiths, teach the Living Word in our walk with the Lord and most importantly share that faith with as many people whom we can so there is a greater reunion and expanding hope that we can all be with her and Jewell on the “Brightest Side of Life”.
May God honor her testimony in each of us so that one day we can faithfully choose to trust in God as Aunt Goldie has valiantly done? Peace and happiness to Aunt Goldie and Uncle Jewell as they enter into divine matrimony this time, truly forever!##imported-begin##Diane Lewis##imported-end##

Our family has been so blessed to know your mom and dad. They were really great people. I remember the times your family and my got together for Sunday lunches.I remember the time we came to your house for Sunday dinner and we had to drink real cows milk warm from the cow. I think that will stay with me for ever. I feel our familys always had a good time together.You have to remember the good times and the bad one, mostly good.
