Gordon D. Blundell's Obituary
Mr. Gordon Blundell, age 72, passed away February 20, 2012. He was born April 8, 1939 to Roy and Seora (Riley) Blundell. Gordon was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked as a builder for Clifford Buck Construction prior to his retirement in 2002. He was an avid fisherman and just had his annual fish fry in 2011 celebrating 42 years. He belonged to V.F.W. Post 7729, Muskegon Heights Eagles, Lithuanian Club and Tatra Hall. He is survived by his daughter, Kelly (Bryan) Smith; 3 grandchildren, Marc (Katie) Riegler, James (Ashlie) Baker and Nicole Smith; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Dick (Mary) Blundell; sister, Evelyn (Don) Davis; along with his special friend, Darlene Sanders and her children, Ronda, Robin and Bobby. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Larry and Ron Blundell. MEMORIAL SERVICE and Veteran’s Rites will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 24, 2012 at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
